DK Board Co., Ltd. announced on the 20th that it will participate in the '2022 Gwangju Kyunghyang Housing Fair & Living and Lifestyle' held at the Gwangju Kim Dae-jung Convention Center until the 23rd, showcasing its excellent products including DK Board-X.

The Kyunghyang Housing Fair is Korea's representative architecture, construction, and interior exhibition.

It is well known for presenting total interior solutions by exhibiting related industry products such as building materials and interior design products, along with special zones featuring various themes such as country houses and commercial spaces.

On the first day of the exhibition, DK Board introduced its flagship product, the core material semi-noncombustible EPS insulation material 'DK Board-X,' receiving continuous praise and inquiries from construction officials and visitors.

Earlier this year, DK Board has participated exclusively as an insulation material company among organic and inorganic insulation material companies in numerous building material exhibitions, including Korea's largest construction exhibition 'KOREA BUILD,' which has attracted over 1.4 million buyers to date.

This exclusive participation became possible because, although the Building Act was revised to strengthen fire safety in buildings, existing exterior insulation manufacturers focused only on improving flame retardant performance and failed to meet the standards, leaving DK Board as the sole participant at the exhibitions.

As a result of investing about 5 billion KRW in facility investments over the past five years and paying special attention to quality, DK Board received suitability certification in building safety monitoring and production factory inspections conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport this year.

If DK Board attends the Kyunghyang Housing Fair in Seoul on the 27th, it will mark its 10th exclusive participation in exhibitions this year alone.

DK Board’s core material semi-noncombustible insulation products are lightweight, easy to cut and install, enabling shorter construction periods and offering outstanding economic efficiency, earning satisfaction from both building owners and constructors.

In particular, DK Board’s flagship product, DK Board-X, is a core material semi-noncombustible EPS insulation material made from a single material, securing the semi-noncombustible performance standards stipulated in Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Notification No. 2022-84. It is a high-quality core-type (single material) semi-noncombustible EPS insulation material.

On the 17th, it passed the KS F 8414 full-scale model test for exterior wall finishing materials conducted by KCL Korea Conformity Laboratories, solidifying its position as a leader in the insulation material industry.

DK Board’s technological prowess and the excellence of DK Board-X in construction sites were also confirmed through unannounced building safety monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Among the sites where this product was applied this year, four were designated as monitoring targets, and all four were confirmed as suitable semi-noncombustible materials made from a single material, proving their excellent quality once again.

Additionally, this year, DK Board-X was selected as an 'Excellent Recommended Building Material' by the Korea Institute of Registered Architects, which has 16,000 architects as members, following their review, attracting much interest and inquiries from many architects.
