Hyangdong District is being recognized as the biggest beneficiary of large-scale development projects such as Changneung New Town and Susaek Station area. Changneung New Town is a large-scale residential development district covering approximately 7.89 million square meters, located close to Seoul’s Eunpyeong-gu and Mapo-gu, and is expected to bring a significant influx of population, jobs, and living infrastructure to the area.


These large-scale development benefits are also impacting Hyangdong District. Compared to Changneung New Town, Hyangdong District offers better accessibility to Seoul and simultaneously enjoys development benefits from the Susaek Station area and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, attracting considerable attention.


Moreover, the public transportation network, which had been insufficient in Hyangdong District, is expected to improve, making access to Seoul more convenient and increasing its future value. In fact, Hyangdong Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line is scheduled to open in 2025, and the Goyang Line, connecting Goyang City Hall, Changneung New Town, Hyangdong District, and Seoul, is progressing with a target opening in 2028, which will expand the transportation network.


As interest in Goyang Hyangdong District heats up due to development benefits from Changneung New Town, Susaek Station area, and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, the last knowledge industry center in Hyangdong District, ‘DMC Citywalk,’ is also gaining popularity.


‘DMC Citywalk’ is a knowledge industry center located in Hyangdong District, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, consisting of three basement floors to seven above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 94,797 square meters. The center is designed as both office-type and manufacturing-type factories, with community facilities also provided. Additionally, parking space is planned for a total of 750 vehicles, which is 250% of the legal requirement, allowing for ample parking.


‘DMC Citywalk’ is situated at the entrance of Hyangdong District, making it an excellent location as a knowledge industry center in the station area of Hyangdong Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It is also adjacent to Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Olympic-daero, Seoul-Munsan Expressway, and the Internal Circulation Road, providing convenient vehicle transportation networks for easy travel to other areas.


The knowledge industry center includes various community facilities to enhance employee work satisfaction. Conveniently accessible meeting rooms and lounges are provided, and the rooftop park along with nearby Bongsan and Mangwolsan Mountains offer a pleasant working environment.


Furthermore, the ceiling height is designed up to 6 meters to increase openness. A drive-in design is implemented on all floors of the manufacturing building to improve convenience for manufacturing-type factories, and some units feature balcony designs and can also be used as section offices with small to medium-sized floor plans.


‘DMC Citywalk’ has a broad demand base, allowing for stable rental income expectations. It is expected to attract all major companies from Sangam DMC, where major broadcasters and media companies are located.
