Jeongeup-si Family Center to Open Public Recruitment for Consignment Operation Agencies Starting from the 24th


[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do announced on the 14th that it will publicly recruit consignment operation institutions for the efficient operation and management of the ‘Jeongeup-si Family Center’ from the 24th to the 28th.


The ‘Jeongeup-si Family Center’ is a specialized family welfare service institution that provides universal and comprehensive services for various families regardless of family type, based on the Framework Act on Healthy Families and the Multicultural Families Support Act.


It provides education and programs tailored to various family types, including stable settlement and living support for multicultural families, as well as single-person households and dual-income families.


Eligibility for application includes nonprofit corporations related to healthy family projects or multicultural family support under Article 32 of the Civil Act, schools under Article 2 of the Higher Education Act, and social welfare corporations under Article 2, Clause 3 of the Social Welfare Services Act.


Also eligible are public interest corporations under Article 2 of the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Public Interest Corporations, nonprofit organizations related to healthy family projects or multicultural family support under Article 2 of the Act on Support for Nonprofit Private Organizations, and social cooperatives under Article 2, Clause 3 of the Framework Act on Cooperatives.


Applications are accepted from the 24th to the 28th, and corporations or organizations wishing to operate the consignment should submit the application documents in person to the Women and Family Division of City Hall within the period.


If selected as a consignment institution, the organization will be responsible for the overall operation of the family center for five years from January next year to December 2027.

A city official said, “As family types diversify, it is a time when tailored service support policies for healthy families and multicultural families are needed,” and added, “We hope many professional and capable corporations and organizations will apply to carry out various projects that will improve the quality of life for families.”
