[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] KOSDAQ-listed company GW Vitec announced that all agenda items presented at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on the 7th were approved as originally proposed.
The agenda items included Agenda No. 1, the appointment of directors, with four new directors appointed: ▲ Inside Director Kim Seung-il (current Vice President of GW Vitec) ▲ Other Non-Executive Directors Kim Su-dong (current Professor at Ajou University Graduate School of Global Pharmaceutical Clinical Studies) and Jeong Man-ho (former Blue House Chief of Public Communication) ▲ Outside Director Lim Ho-seok (former Uijeongbu City Council member).
A company official stated, “Through the appointment of these new directors, all employees will unite and strive even harder to achieve not only corporate value but also shareholder value enhancement through the success of new businesses and the efficiency improvement of existing businesses.”
Meanwhile, GW Vitec is expanding the online distribution network of its existing scientific equipment business and strengthening corporate capabilities through business diversification such as healthcare, metabolomics, and proteomics analysis businesses. In addition, together with its subsidiary SNP Genetics, the company is actively promoting the CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organization) business and inactivated vaccine business.
