Space Designed by Architect Seo Seungmo, Reinterpreting the Curves and Negative Space of Moon Jars
Showcasing Lifestyle Products Collaborated with Art Artists as Well as Seasonal Collections
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samsung C&T Fashion Division's women's wear brand LEBEIGE has opened a total premium lifestyle store, 'Salon de LEBEIGE,' at the main branch of Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, the company announced on the 11th.
As a premium lifestyle brand, LEBEIGE opened the total premium lifestyle store 'Salon de LEBEIGE' to deliver value to customers and strengthen its positioning with a Korean sensibility. Salon de LEBEIGE is located on the 4th floor of the Lotte Department Store main branch and covers approximately 43 pyeong (142.48㎡).
LEBEIGE decorated Salon de LEBEIGE with architect Seo Seungmo, who represents the current state of Korean architecture, under the concept of 'Dalhangari' (Moon Jar). The curves and beauty of empty space of the Dalhangari were modernly reinterpreted to create a space that feels like being inside the Dalhangari, in a form that 'contains and embraces.'
At Salon de LEBEIGE, LEBEIGE showcases not only seasonal collection products but also lifestyle items created in collaboration with art artists. They sell clothing and accessories such as bags, shoes, and jewelry, including LEBEIGE's top-tier products 'Collection Line,' elegant daily wear 'LEBEIGE Line,' and high-class social wear 'LEFINE Line.'
In collaboration with the Leeum Art Shop, they sell art objects by young artists and craftsmen, such as candle holders by artist Seungwoo Sun and plates and vases by artist Jaeho Jung. They also propose limited edition lifestyle products that reinterpret Korean food, clothing, and shelter in a modern way by master artisans like Junsu Kim and Heeju Choi. Additionally, works by famous Korean furniture artists, including sofas, lighting, and tables, are exhibited and sold.
Park Youngmi, head of Samsung C&T's women's wear division, said, "Through the opening of this store, we plan for customers to experience the values and lifestyle that LEBEIGE pursues and further promote Korean beauty widely."
