Ryu Kyung-gi, Jungnang-gu Mayor, Delivers Congratulatory Speech on Stage at Yongma Waterfall Culture and Arts Festival on the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the afternoon of the 8th, the 2022 Yongma Waterfall Culture and Arts Festival opened at Yongma Waterfall Park in Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi). The festival continues until the following day, the 9th.
Now in its 7th year, the Yongma Waterfall Culture and Arts Festival is Jungnang-gu's representative autumn festival, attracting more than 30,000 visitors annually, and has returned to an in-person format after three years.
On the first day of the festival, the 8th, programs such as the 'Jungnang History Quiz Contest,' 'Jungnang Talent Competition,' and 'Jungnang Citizen Awards Ceremony' were held, allowing residents to freely showcase their talents and skills. A congratulatory performance by singer Ulala Session followed, receiving great applause from the audience.
The Sharing Yard, which offered experiential programs for children, the romantic busking performances by Jungnang artists, and the flea market with various goods in the Sharing Yard attracted continuous foot traffic from visitors.
On the following day, performances such as the play 'Jungnang Drama Cha Jung-rak Song Festival' and the 'Yongma Waterfall Music Concert' are scheduled.
