Korean-American golfer Kim Si-hwan aims for the top prize of 4 million dollars (approximately 5.7 billion KRW) at the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
On the 8th, Kim Si-hwan shot a 6-under-par 66 in the second round of the 6th LIV Golf Series tournament held at Stonehill Golf Course (par 72) in Pathum Thani near Bangkok, Thailand. With a total score of 11-under-par 133, Kim entered the final round tied for 2nd place, 5 strokes behind the leader Eugenio Chacarra from Spain.
Kim Si-hwan joined LIV Golf after winning twice on the ASEAN Professional Golf Tour. His best finish in the four previous series he participated in was tied for 15th place.
Eugenio Chacarra, who was ranked 2nd in the amateur world rankings and made his professional tour debut through the LIV Series, shot a 9-under-par 63 on the day. With a total score of 16-under-par 128, he comfortably leads the group tied for 2nd place as the sole leader. Chacarra has also participated in four LIV Golf Series events so far, but his best finish was tied for 24th.
Patrick Reed, Harold Varner III (both from the United States), and Richard Bland (England) are tied for 2nd place along with Kim Si-hwan.
Meanwhile, Brandon Grace (South Africa), who was co-leader the previous day, withdrew early in the round due to a sudden injury.
