'Asking the Way with Kindness'... Mapo-gu Opens the 18th Seoul Wow Book Festival

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the '18th Seoul Wow Book Festival' held at the Seoul Life Culture Center in Mapo-gu (72 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu) on the afternoon of the 7th and delivered a congratulatory speech.

This festival, fitting for the reading season of autumn, will be held for three days from the 7th to the 9th at the Seoul Life Culture Center Seogyo (72 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu).

Under the theme "Asking the Way with Kindness," the festival aims to create a space of hospitality that offers comfort and empathy to those who are tired and struggling, demonstrating the power of love and solidarity. Especially this year, most events are held offline, allowing visitors to meet and enjoy various authors and books directly on site.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "The book fair, which was suspended for two years due to COVID-19, has resumed, and it is expected to bring vitality back to the residents who love books," adding, "With a wide variety of attractions, abundant entertainment, and fun events planned, I hope many residents can communicate through books and dream together about the future ahead."
