‘DongneBangneBeef’ to be held at Bukhang Redevelopment Area Waterside Park! ... 3 days of movies and performances

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] ‘Dongne Bangne BIFF,’ organized by the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), will be held for three days from the 9th to the 11th at the event stairs of the North Port Redevelopment Waterfront Park.

‘Dongne Bangne BIFF’ is an event that turns the entire city of Busan into a movie theater to encourage local residents' participation and expand opportunities to enjoy culture.

During the event period, one film will be screened daily from 7:30 PM, along with performances by singers and others. Anyone can visit the event stairs at the Waterfront Park to enjoy movies and performances for free.

On the 11th, when the documentary ‘1984 Choi Dong-won,’ depicting the life of baseball player Choi Dong-won from Busan, will be screened, nine households from the Dong-gu area will be specially invited and provided with snacks and drinks.

The Busan Port Authority (BPA) expects to promote the charm of the redevelopment area and revitalize it by holding the film festival event at the Waterfront Park in the North Port Phase 1 redevelopment site, which is nearing completion.

Kang Jun-seok, president of BPA, said, “The successful completion and revitalization of the North Port redevelopment project require the cooperation and interest of local residents,” adding, “BPA will also take the lead in ESG activities and sharing for local residents.”
