[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 7th that its menswear brand 'Henry Cotton' will launch the 'Fly Fishing Club' collection, inspired by the classic style of those who enjoy fly fishing.
Fly fishing was one of the hobbies enjoyed by Sir Thomas Henry Cotton. Henry Cotton's brand identity, 'Three Fisher Men,' also symbolizes fly fishing. The Fly Fishing Club features designs that reinterpret the details and silhouettes of authentic fly fishing wear for everyday life. Using fabrics and colors that express this heritage, the collection emphasizes a classic charm. To highlight the heritage of the Fly Fishing Club, a collaboration was also carried out with the brand 'Spectator,' which is based on military and workwear styles.
Along with the launch of the Fly Fishing Club collection, Henry Cotton will operate a pop-up store at Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong until the 23rd of this month to commemorate the collaboration with Spectator. The purpose is to introduce Henry Cotton's new designs to a new customer base that values classic style and worth, and to strengthen communication channels.
The Fly Fishing Club collection by Henry Cotton will be available for purchase on Kolon Mall starting from the 15th of this month, and can also be found at eight major department store locations including The Hyundai Seoul and Shinsegae Department Store Gyeonggi Branch.
A Henry Cotton representative stated, "The Fly Fishing Club will not only intuitively convey Henry Cotton's unique brand philosophy but also provide customers with an opportunity to experience it firsthand," adding, "Henry Cotton will continue to grow as a brand that preserves its heritage."
