[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] Autonomous driving data company Infinic has submitted an application for preliminary listing examination to the Korea Exchange for a KOSDAQ listing through a growth potential special case. The company is officially entering the initial public offering (IPO) process.
Infinic underwent technology evaluations from two professional assessment agencies in July, receiving AA and A grades respectively, recognizing its technological capabilities. The listing underwriter is Korea Investment & Securities.
Founded in 2005, Infinic is a first-generation domestic software quality verification company. In 2016, to respond to changes in the digital environment, it entered the artificial intelligence data business. It supplies over 1 billion high-quality artificial intelligence (AI) data, mainly autonomous driving learning data, to both private and public sectors.
Infinic has independently developed DataStudio, a DataOps technology that operates and manages the entire data lifecycle necessary for AI development. DataStudio is a framework technology that integrates all processes related to data construction such as data collection, refinement, processing, inspection, storage, and management, as well as collaboration and monitoring support systems and integrated management. It supports all areas required for AI development.
Infinic, uniquely possessing an independent 3D data processing platform domestically, supplies high-quality autonomous driving learning data that minimizes error margins by processing various precision sensor information including LiDAR along with 2D images.
Infinic collaborates with over 40 global autonomous driving-related companies and public institutions, including Hyundai Motor Company and Qualcomm.
Park Junhyung, CEO of Infinic, stated, "We plan to grow into a leading company in the AI data market by expanding our business not only in autonomous driving data but also in retail, smart home, and aviation sectors."
