[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Comprehensive education company Eduwill announced on the 7th that it has appointed Kim Jaehwan as the new CEO and will transition to a co-CEO system with the existing CEO Kwon Daeho.
Based on his experience in the education industry, CEO Kwon has focused on strengthening internal capabilities. Eduwill plans to create synergy by bringing in Kim as an external talent to lead the company together with CEO Kwon. Kim will be responsible for core business divisions such as educational content, academies, publishing, and lifelong education, concentrating his efforts on enhancing the competitiveness of each division.
Kim previously served as Head of Brand Communication and Chief Customer Officer (CCO) at Carrot General Insurance, Vice President at edutech education company ST Unitas, and Head of Brand 2 at Hyundai Card, establishing himself as an expert in brand strategy and marketing in the finance and education sectors.
Kim stated, “I will inherit the successful legacy Eduwill has built so far and strengthen both qualitative development with substance and quantitative growth. Together with CEO Kwon, we will unite to solidify Eduwill’s leading position as an edutech company.”
