[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Social Security Council of Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, operated a pottery-making experience program as an environmental empathy program for local residents on the 6th at ‘Jaetgol Doyo’ in Songjeong-ri, Seosaeng-myeon.
Sponsored by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, this program will be held a total of three times from the 6th to the 7th.
Participants learned the process of making pottery from a pottery expert and had time to create their own unique bowls and vases.
Committee Chairman Geunho Bae said, “We hope this will raise awareness of the environment through the production of daily necessities using eco-friendly materials and become a place for communication among residents.”
Seosaeng-myeon Mayor Junho Lee said, “I am grateful to provide a meaningful program for local residents who have difficulty accessing cultural life,” and added, “We will strive to support various cultural programs in the future.”
