Gwangju Seo-gu to Hold 'Hair Festival' at Eoksae Festival Site on the 10th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Yi-gang) announced on the 6th that it will hold the 'Beauty Seo-gu, Hair Festival' event at 6 p.m. on the 10th at the outdoor stage of the Yeongsangang Seochang Field Silver Grass Festival site.

This event is drawing attention as it is held at a time when interest in the beauty industry is increasing, such as Gwangju City promoting the K-Beauty City project to establish a new industrial model through innovation in the beauty service industry.

Celebrating its 12th year, the 'Beauty Seo-gu, Hair Festival' consists of three acts: Act 1 features a classic hair art show; Act 2 presents 10 creative daily style demonstrations; and Act 3 showcases 12 creative hair artworks inspired by the Taegeukgi (Korean flag), pine tree, and mugunghwa (rose of Sharon).

Additionally, side events including hair art exhibitions and prize draws will be held.

A Seo-gu official said, "We hope visitors can experience the harmonious beauty of classic hair and modern beauty at the Silver Grass Festival, where the autumn atmosphere can be felt."
