The 36th Bisabeol Cultural Festival with the Upo Oriental Stork, hosted by Changnyeong-gun and organized by the Bisabeol Cultural Festival Committee, will be held from the 7th to the 9th around Changnyeongcheon in Changnyeong-eup.

The Bisabeol Cultural Festival is a representative cultural and arts festival of Changnyeong, serving as a stage for citizen harmony that inherits and develops the historic history and culture of Changnyeong.

On the first day of the event, the traveling merchant market, which operates daily during the festival period, will open, and the Bisabeol cultural parade marching around Changnyeong-eup and an art practical contest will take place.

Changnyeong-gun publicity ambassador Seol Woon-do, popera singers Arihyun, Inayeon, and Yoon Jin, who won the Musical Star K grand prize, will perform congratulatory performances at the commemorative ceremony, and this year a drone light show will also be held, beautifully decorating the deepening autumn night sky.

On the 8th and 9th, the 33rd National Sijo Singing Contest hosted by the Changnyeong Cultural Center, a youth talent show, the Mak~kkeullineun Party, and the Upo Oriental Stork Festival will be held, along with a Pyongyang art performance, the closing ceremony of the Bisabeol Cultural Festival, and a prize drawing sponsored by the Jongno Shopping District Association.
