Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters to Conduct 'Emergency Rescue Response Drill' in Ansan on the 5th The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters is conducting a comprehensive emergency rescue training focused on strengthening disaster response capabilities against complex disasters on the 5th at the former Korea Institute of Marine Science and Technology in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do.

On the 6th, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that on the 5th, it held the "2022 Gyeonggi-do Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Drill" focused on strengthening disaster response capabilities for complex disasters at the former Korea Institute of Marine Science and Technology in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. About 500 people from 33 organizations and groups, including the headquarters, Ansan Fire Station, and Ansan City, participated in the drill.


In particular, during this drill, response resources such as personnel and equipment were actually dispatched to the site to establish an emergency rescue control team and check each person's mission and role. After the drill, a debriefing and on-site evaluation meeting were held to identify shortcomings in the disaster response system and prepare improvement measures.


A Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters official stated, "When a large-scale disaster occurs, assigning and performing tasks according to the characteristics of the disaster site is of utmost importance," adding, "We will continue to promote ongoing drills to ensure individual task awareness and communication and information sharing among teams and organizations."
