DoubleU Games Enters UK Market... Obtains Certification for 7 Additional Slot Games

i-Gaming refers to online casinos where cash betting and withdrawals are possible, unlike traditional social casinos. Since it is classified as gambling, game content providers must pass certification procedures from global certification bodies such as BMM Testlabs.

DoubleU Games plans to build a lineup of around 30 slot games this year to target the UK market. According to the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), the UK i-Gaming market size was estimated at ?4.015 billion (approximately KRW 6.23 trillion) as of 2020, making it the largest single-country market.

DoubleU Games is pursuing a two-track strategy for the UK i-Gaming market. The recent software certification process is part of its B2B business to supply game content to other platforms. At the same time, DoubleU Games is considering entering the B2C market by selecting M&A advisory firms within the UK to review potential acquisition targets.

A DoubleU Games official stated, “The software certification process for our slot games is accelerating,” adding, “We plan to complete certifications for various slots in the future and create an environment where content can be immediately utilized once the business is fully launched.”
