[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] KT Alpha Shopping announced on the 5th that it has launched its first fashion private brand (PB), ‘Le Toit,’ targeting this year’s fall/winter (FW) season.


Le Toit means the number ‘3,’ symbolizing perfection in French. It breaks away from the existing value-for-money-focused home shopping PB brands by carefully selecting only premium materials to pursue differentiated high-quality value. It plans to offer timeless products that transcend eras and remain unchanged over time (Timeless), essential items that everyone needs and that maintain basics without following fleeting trends (Essential), and premium products made from carefully selected top-quality natural materials (Premium).


Le Toit has prepared a lineup of 14 items, including products made from 100% cashmere fabric, fox fur goose down, full-skin mink long coats, and pintuck pants. Representative products include cashmere items developed in collaboration with Samsung C&T, Korea’s top fashion company, and lambskin goose down products created together with fashion designer Park Yoon-hee.


The brand model is actress Lee Bo-young, who is loved for her elegant image and stable acting skills. Through this, the brand aims to add sophisticated style and sensibility to appeal not only to the main customer base of the 40s and 50s age group but also to younger female customers.


KT Alpha Shopping will hold a special Le Toit event starting from the 7th on its mobile application (app) and online mall. Customers who preorder will receive a 10% discount coupon, and benefits include 10% points accumulation on the payment amount and a 7% card billing discount.


Jung Ki-ho, CEO of KT Alpha, said, “As Le Toit is our first fashion PB, we plan to operate it considering brand sustainability and product lineup expansion.” He added, “We will continuously strengthen our competitiveness in fashion products going forward.”
