[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Automobili Lamborghini announced on the 4th that it will unveil the Urus S, the successor model to the Urus, which created a new niche market for super sports utility vehicles (SUVs) in the luxury segment. The Urus S, which boasts a luxurious yet versatile appeal, expands the Urus lineup alongside the recently launched Urus Performante model, which emphasizes the sportiness of the super SUV.

The Urus S is a model for customers seeking a vehicle that combines powerful performance, luxury, and versatility, and together with the recently launched Urus Performante, it perfectly establishes a new lineup.”
The Urus S is equipped with the same twin-turbo V8 engine as the Urus Performante, delivering an increased output of up to 666 horsepower. It also boasts a best-in-class weight-to-power ratio of 3.3 kg/CV. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in just 12.5 seconds. Thanks to its powerful braking system, the stopping distance from 100 km/h is only 33.7 meters. The top speed is 305 km/h, and it produces a maximum torque of 86.7 kg.m from 2,300 rpm to 6,000 rpm. Additionally, the tuned exhaust system provides a clearer sound at startup and in each driving mode, reminding that this super SUV is truly a Lamborghini.
The exterior design of the Urus S embodies a sporty yet luxurious lifestyle persona. It has been specifically and meticulously refined to ensure the super SUV stands out in all environments, differentiating itself. Furthermore, with an expanded range of color trims, wheels, style packages, and special detail options, customers can customize the vehicle according to their desired style, from restrained to maximally sporty.
Urus S customers can use Lamborghini’s exclusive bespoke customization program, Ad Personam, to finely adjust every detail of the interior and exterior to suit their tastes and lifestyle.
The front bumper of the Urus S adopts a more refined line and comes standard with a matte black painted stainless steel skid plate. The front grille features an added black line, giving the Urus S a distinctive personality. The hood, made from new lightweight carbon fiber, includes air intakes painted in matte black.
The new style of the rear bumper makes the Urus S appear more elegant and streamlined. The matte black painted lower section features a new twin-pipe exhaust design made from brushed steel, which is standard equipment.
Additionally, the interior design of the Urus S offers new color trims called Bi-Color Sportivo and Bi-Color Sophisticato, featuring the stitching pattern from the Urus Performante. Both color trims stylishly use Blue Leandro and Verde Aura colors, which contrast with the darker leather tones.
