[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The court's decision on the provisional injunction filed by former People Power Party (PPP) leader Lee Jun-seok, requesting the suspension of the authority of Emergency Response Committee Chairman Jeong Jin-seok, is expected to be announced only after the 6th.

The Seoul Southern District Court announced on the 4th that the decision on the provisional injunction case related to the PPP will be made after the 6th.

The Civil Division 51 of the Seoul Southern District Court (Chief Presiding Judge Hwang Jeong-su) held a hearing on the provisional injunction filed by former leader Lee against the PPP from 11 a.m. on the 28th.

During the trial, the hearing focused on the 3rd to 5th provisional injunctions, including ▲ suspension of the effectiveness of the 'emergency situation' party constitution amendment national committee (3rd) ▲ suspension of the execution of duties of Emergency Response Committee Chairman Jeong Jin-seok (4th) ▲ suspension of the execution of duties of six emergency response committee members (5th).

Former leader Lee argued, "Despite the judge writing a clear ruling, the continued situation of pretending not to understand it actually created the current situation," adding, "So it is necessary for the current situation to make them understand."

In response, PPP emergency response committee members Jeon Ju-hye and Kim Jong-hyeok countered, "If the injunction is granted again, the ruling party will fall into a state of functional suspension, and a major national administrative chaos is expected."

Previously, the first provisional injunction hearing was held on August 17, and the conclusion was reached nine days later on the 26th.
