Excellence in Foreign Investment Companies' Organizational Culture and Work Environment Captured in In-Depth Interviews
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will publish 'I Work at a Foreign-Invested Company 2' on the 4th, which covers the job environment of excellent foreign-invested companies operating in Korea.
This booklet is being published for the second time following last year. It contains business details, visions, welfare systems, and recruitment information of 12 foreign-invested companies including Boeing Korea, Otis Elevator, and Henkel Korea. It also includes insights from 13 employees working at these companies about organizational culture, work and communication methods, global networks, and career management. Additionally, interviews with three staff members from KOTRA's Foreign-Invested Company Recruitment Support Team introduce KOTRA's employment support projects for foreign-invested companies and useful tips. The booklet also features excellent cases of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, company atmospheres, and interview know-how for each foreign-invested company.
KOTRA plans to distribute the booklet to related institutions of foreign-invested companies. It will also be distributed to job seekers participating in the '17th Foreign-Invested Company Job Fair' held on the 14th of next month at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Jang Sanghyun, CEO of KOTRA Invest Korea, said, “Among the Fortune 500 companies, 246 have entered the domestic market, and many of these contribute to creating quality jobs. The job-related information included in the first booklet published last year received positive responses from excellent foreign-invested companies and job seekers, so this year we increased the number of participating companies and information.”
