[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 2nd, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, attended the 5th Yeongdeungpo-gu Association President's Hapkido Competition held at Yeongdeungpo No.1 Sports Center, where he awarded commendations to those who contributed to the promotion of community sports and encouraged the athletes.

Organized by the Yeongdeungpo-gu Hapkido Association, this tournament featured about 300 athletes and guests, with individual and team matches held in a knockout format, showcasing intense competitions among the players and serving as an event for club members to foster harmony and friendship.

Mayor Choi Ho-gwon stated, "I hope this competition will widely promote the excellence of Korean martial art Hapkido and boost the honor and sense of achievement among club members. We will continue to strive to expand the base of community sports for the health improvement and vibrant leisure life of our residents."
