Namwon-si Unbong-eup to Operate Small Public Bathhouse Starting from the 4th of Next Month


[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, announced on the 30th that the Sarang愛 Small Bathhouse (hereinafter Small Bathhouse) in Unbong-eup, which had suspended operations to prevent COVID-19, will resume operations from the 4th of next month.


Unbong-eup has completed preparations for reopening, including thorough cleaning, disinfection, boiler inspection, and water supply checks to ensure safe and comfortable facility use.


The Small Bathhouse is equipped with optimal bathing facilities such as hot and cold baths, changing rooms, and restrooms.


The bathhouse operates five days a week from Monday to Friday, with designated days for men and women.


Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with women allowed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and men on Tuesday and Thursday.


Usage fees are free for national merit recipients, basic livelihood security recipients, and persons with disabilities; 1,500 KRW for those aged 65 and older; and 2,000 KRW for the general public.


Yang Jae-woo, the head of the town office, said, “The Small Bathhouse is a place for residents to meet and communicate, with very high satisfaction and frequent use. We will do our best to operate it so that residents can use the bathhouse comfortably and cleanly.”
