Korean Management Technology Guidance Association Appoints Oh In-su, Former Transition Committee Advisor, as Full-time Vice Chairman Korea Management Technology Guidance Association, Insoo Oh, Full-time Vice Chairman

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Min-jae] The Korea Management Technology Guidance Association (President Kim Oh-yeon, hereinafter referred to as the Guidance Association) announced on the 30th that Oh In-su, the full-time vice president (photo), assumed office on the 16th.


Newly appointed full-time Vice President Oh will be responsible for overseeing the training programs for guidance counselors promoted by the Guidance Association, consulting projects by government, local governments, and related organizations supporting more than 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners annually, global projects for overseas market entry and export, and the business of approximately 17,000 guidance counselor members.


Vice President Oh served as an advisory member (Economic Subcommittee 2) of the current government's Presidential Transition Committee. He has worked in various fields for 27 years, including as a parliamentary aide (15th, 16th, 19th, and 20th National Assembly), president of the National Assembly Political Culture Research Association, adjunct professor at Paichai University, director and president of Gyeonggi Arts Center, director of Gimpo Cultural Foundation, and secretary general and senior research fellow at The Better Country Strategy Institute.


Vice President Oh stated, “By contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners through nationally certified management and technical guidance counselors and the Guidance Association, we will play a leading role in revitalizing the regional economy and developing the national economy, as well as contribute to expanding the social role and enhancing the status of guidance counselors.”


The Guidance Association is a statutory organization under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, established in 1986. It comprises approximately 17,000 nationally certified management and technical guidance counselors and 19 branches nationwide.
