High-Protein Handmade Scone Set with High Protein Content and Two Types of Traditional Nagasaki Method Handmade Castella Released
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Pulmuone Orga Whole Foods announced on the 30th that it is expanding its premium bakery lineup made with differentiated recipes and ingredients by launching ‘High-Protein Handmade Scones’ and ‘Handmade Castella’.
The new products introduced by Orga Whole Foods this time include a total of three items: a ‘High-Protein Handmade Scone’ set containing 9g of protein with a savory and mild taste, and two types of ‘Handmade Castella’ made using the traditional Nagasaki method. These products are characterized by applying Orga Whole Foods’ strict additive standards and being manufactured with professional recipes and techniques, considering both nutrition and taste.
The high-protein handmade scones are made with a differentiated recipe by a p?tissier who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world’s top three culinary schools, resulting in savory and mild high-protein scones. Each scone contains 9g of protein, equivalent to about 1.5 eggs or 100g of tofu, allowing you to supplement protein deliciously and heartily. They are made so that there is no fishy taste or dryness, allowing you to enjoy them deliciously until the last bite.
They are healthily made using domestic eggs, sun-dried salt, and soybeans, and produced in a HACCP-certified facility for safer consumption. They can be eaten immediately after thawing without additional cooking, and warming them in an oven or air fryer melts the butter, enhancing the flavor. The set comes in four flavors (Plain, Walnut Chocolate Chip, Earl Grey Fig, Cranberry), making it perfect for enjoying a British-style afternoon tea time with jam or butter.
The handmade castella is an authentic premium castella carefully baked for over an hour at low temperature in wooden molds using the traditional Nagasaki method. It comes in two flavors, honey and green tea, and is made according to the traditional recipe, featuring a dense and chewy texture. It is produced in small sizes for easy storage and is great to enjoy with green tea or coffee. The product incorporates the know-how of a manufacturer specializing exclusively in castella, meets Orga Whole Foods’ strict additive standards, and is produced in a HACCP-certified facility, ensuring trust and safety.
Kang Ji-eun, head of the product development team at Orga Whole Foods, said, “This new product is the fourth planned and launched following our domestic wheat cookies, baked goods, and walnut pies. We will continue to expand customer touchpoints to introduce premium bakery products with Orga Whole Foods’ unique differentiated value to more customers.”
