[YES24 Best Seller] 'Yeokhaengja' Tops for 3 Consecutive Weeks... Pre-order 'Trend Korea 2023' Ranks 7th


[Asia Economy Reporter Seo Mideum] In the comprehensive bestseller list of Yes24 for the 5th week of September, the life comeback strategy book toward economic freedom, Yeokhaengja, proved its enduring popularity by ranking first for three consecutive weeks. Due to the steady strength of Korean novel steady sellers and new releases, the 2nd to 4th places were held by Bulpeonhan Pyeonuijeom 2, Haerbin, and Abeojiui Haebangilji, maintaining the same rankings as the previous week. Amid positive reviews of new works, Bulpeonhan Pyeonuijeom also rose one spot from the previous week to rank 5th.


This week, new books on parenting and child education attracted attention. The guidebook on respectful language that conveys love without hurting children, Eommaui Mal Yeonseup, ranked 9th, and the parenting method that fosters children with strong inner strength who carve out their own lives, Sesaengeseo Gajang Swipgeun Bonjil Yukga, took 10th place. The reading-based parenting guide that fills sons' weaknesses and nurtures their strengths, 5~10se Adeul Yukga neun Chaek Ilgeugi ga Jeonbuda, ranked 17th.


Meanwhile, the third story in the series, Almond by author Son Won-pyeong, the fairy tale Wipungdangdang Yeou Kkori 3, ranked 15th this week. It is a fantasy about a protagonist girl who, caught up in a terrifying incident during a Halloween festival, unfolds her hidden courage.


In the e-book category, Kim Hoon’s full-length novel Haerbin, which depicts the passionate times of the historical figure An Jung-geun beyond history, ranked first. Following that, Deokryeok Choegang, the story of four female fans moving into a share house, Deokhu Yeoja Neti Han Jibe Sumnida, took 2nd place.


Seouldae Sobitrendeu Bunseok Senteo’s 2023 forecast, Trend Korea 2023, started pre-orders this week and immediately ranked 7th on the Yes24 comprehensive bestseller list. This book, a consumer trend forecast for wrapping up the year and preparing for the next, receives high interest every year. This year, it forecasts the Year of the Rabbit, which will leap beyond the stagnation and recession in our lives changed by COVID-19 with fierceness and agility.
