[2022 Asia Construction Awards] DL E&C Unveils 'Ocean View Landmark,' the Tallest Building in Western Gyeongnam Region


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DL E&C, which received the Asia Economy Representative Award in the customer satisfaction category, is a top domestic construction company established in 1939 and has been leading construction in South Korea.


Last year, the company changed its name from Daelim Industrial to DL E&C and is carrying out various projects in the housing, civil engineering, and plant business sectors. It has showcased various buildings such as the National Assembly Building, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, and D-Tower Gwanghwamun, and has built landmark residential facilities like Acro River Park and Acro Seoul Forest.


Overseas, it constructed the world's longest suspension bridge, the ?anakkale Bridge in Turkey, and has been recognized for successfully carrying out various plant projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.


[2022 Asia Construction Awards] DL E&C Unveils 'Ocean View Landmark,' the Tallest Building in Western Gyeongnam Region 'e-Pyeonhansesang Samcheonpo Ocean Prime' Sky Lounge



'e-Pyeonhansesang Samcheonpo Ocean Prime' is the first e-Pyeonhansesang complex in Sacheon City, presented by DL E&C as the tallest building and ocean view landmark in western Gyeongnam.


e-Pyeonhansesang Samcheonpo Ocean Prime consists of 4 buildings from 4 basement floors to 49 floors above ground, with a total of 677 households ranging from 84 to 138㎡ in exclusive area. Currently, the complex is accepting contracts with designated building and unit numbers, and contracts are possible regardless of subscription savings account status, residency restrictions, or home ownership.


It is developed as the tallest complex in the western Gyeongnam area with 49 floors and offers views of the South Sea right in front of the complex (excluding some units). The 84㎡ A and B types and 112㎡ A type feature a 4-bay layout, while the 124㎡ type has a 5-bay slab-type structure allowing cross ventilation. DL E&C's lifestyle-customized residential platform, C2 House, is applied, and all types from 84 to 138㎡ include ample storage spaces such as entrance pantries and master bedroom dressing rooms.


Additionally, a 'one-stop laundry zone' is provided where the washing machine and dryer are arranged side by side, enabling hand washing and ironing to be done in one space. DL E&C's specialized fine dust reduction system, the 'Smart Clean & Care Solution,' is also applied. Furthermore, facilities such as a sky guest house, children's water playground, and lobby seasonal garden are created.


Leveraging these strengths, the complex attracted many applicants in the Sacheon area, which had been considered a subscription desert. According to the Korea Real Estate Agency's subscription home, e-Pyeonhansesang Samcheonpo Ocean Prime received a total of 826 applications during the special supply and first and second priority subscription periods from the 8th to the 10th. The combined number of first and second priority applications was 794, far exceeding the total of 763 applications for three complexes sold in Sacheon City over the past three years (2019?2021).


In particular, the 138㎡ A type recorded the highest competition rate of 23 to 1, breaking the record for the highest competition rate in Sacheon City. Previously, the first priority competition rate for complexes sold in Sacheon City was generally in the 0-point range, with the highest competition rate being 2.4 to 1. Considering Sacheon City's historically low interest in subscriptions, this is an unprecedented success.
