[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Homeplus announced on the 29th that it will hold the ‘Golden Week Price Stabilization Project’ for two consecutive weeks targeting the golden holidays of National Foundation Day and Hangeul Day in October, aiming to ease the burden on customers’ shopping baskets.


For customers looking for restorative health foods, until the 5th, ‘Australian Grain Refrigerated Steamed Short Ribs (100g)’ will be sold at a 40% discount for My Homeplus membership members at 2,580 KRW, and all types of ‘Nonghyup Safe Hanwoo’ grilled meat will also be available at up to 40% off. To provide meat to customers at reasonable prices amid high inflation, a large quantity was secured in advance.


From the 1st to the 3rd, branded pork belly and neck meat will be offered at a 30% discount when paying with one of nine major credit cards, and customers purchasing 600g or more will receive six types of leafy vegetables for wraps, including red lettuce, red amaranth, and kale, to reduce the burden of food prices.


On this day only, ‘Baekdudaegan 100% Gangwon Province Fresh Natural Pine Mushrooms (200g)’, perfect for nutritional supplementation during the seasonal change, will be offered to My Homeplus membership members at a 30,000 KRW discount, priced at 39,900 KRW.


‘Red King Crab’ will be available at 149,500 KRW per crab with a 100,000 KRW discount when paying with one of nine major credit cards during the weekend, along with a free steaming service. Additionally, ‘Daecheon Gim Fresh Gopchang Dol Gim (80g)’ will be sold to My Homeplus membership members at a 40% discount price of 6,540 KRW. This product is introduced three weeks earlier than usual through early harvesting, offering not only the rich natural aroma of gim but also excellent texture and quality.


‘Apple Jujube (450g)’, which can only be tasted for one month a year, will also be introduced. It is larger than regular jujubes and features a crisp texture like an apple. It can be purchased for 7,990 KRW with a 3,000 KRW discount when paying with one of nine major credit cards. Until the 5th, autumn ‘Fresh Chestnuts (2kg)’, ‘Persimmons (2 packs)’, ‘Naju Pears (4-7 pieces) harvested after Chuseok’, and ‘Figs (12-14 pieces)’ will be available, and from the 30th to the 3rd, ‘Maeru Grapes (1.5kg)’ will be offered at up to 50% discount when paying with one of nine major credit cards, each priced at 9,990 KRW.


For customers preparing for outings and camping, seven meal kits including ‘Camping Pocha Busan-style Nakgopsae’, ‘Yeonan Restaurant Altang’, and ‘Ashley Corn Cheese Barbecue Chicken’ will be offered at a 30% discount when paying with one of nine major credit cards. In addition, various meats, vegetables, seafood, fruits, ramen, beverages, and ready meals will be available at up to 50% discount.
