[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] HNIC announced on the 28th that it is currently selling the terrace house "Sokcho Heriot The228," for which it is in charge of construction.

The complex is being developed in Jangsa-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do, consisting of 14 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 4 above-ground floors, with a total of 228 households and exclusive areas of 84 to 101㎡. It is divided into 11 types according to the preferred floor area, duplex, and presence or absence of terraces.

The terraces feature specialized designs such as duplex, rooftop, and sunken types. High ceiling heights and wide usable areas enhance space efficiency. The terrace and attic structures provide up to 241.65㎡ based on an exclusive area of 84㎡, allowing for a space approximately three times larger than the exclusive area. Community facilities include a plaza, guest house, and golf practice range. The interior is designed to be advantageous for security and energy saving.

The Jangsa-dong area where the complex is located is undergoing development projects such as the KTX Sokcho Station and the East-West High-Speed Railway project. The KTX Sokcho Station, scheduled to open in 2027, is nearby, and once completed, it will enable travel from Seoul Yongsan Station to Sokcho Station within about an hour.

The complex is equipped with various leisure facilities and convenient living infrastructure. Nearby are Seorak Waterpia, Hanwha Resort, Delpino CC, Plaza CC, and Sokcho Sports Complex, where residents can enjoy golf and surfing. Commercial and cultural facilities such as Hanaro Mart, E-Mart, Sokcho Culture and Arts Center, as well as government offices, hospitals and clinics, and Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal are also close.

Additionally, it offers various natural environments including views of Seoraksan Ulsanbawi Rock, the East Coast Sokcho front sea, and a forest area on three sides. It also provides easy access to famous tourist spots such as Yeongnangho Lake, Sokcho Tourist Fishery Market, and Sokcho Beach, which attracted about 920,000 visitors this year.

A sales representative stated, "Recently, the demand for terrace houses has been increasing," adding, "Sokcho Heriot The228, located in Sokcho, a representative domestic tourist destination, offers differentiated product value and living infrastructure compared to other terrace houses, attracting continuous inquiries not only from actual users but also from investors."

Meanwhile, HNIC was established by Jung Dae-sun, grandson of the late Honorary Chairman Chung Ju-yung of Hyundai Group, and changed its name from Hyundai BS&C.
