[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Curriculum Education Research Association announced on the 28th that it held the '2022 3rd Class Sharing Training Session' attended by about 1,500 elementary school teachers in Jeonnam province.
On this day, teachers publicly shared their lessons through subject-specific metaverse platforms and conducted online discussions.
In particular, it introduced the nation's first professional learning community training using metaverse both online and offline, and presented directions for improving future-oriented teaching and learning methods to strengthen teacher competencies in the era of digital transformation.
Superintendent Kim Dae-jung said, "If teachers develop remote class materials and enhance their digital class sharing capabilities on the field, it will be a great force in realizing the future education of Jeonnam," adding, "We expect the role of teachers for the great transformation of Jeonnam education in the 4th term of the civilian administration."
