[Asia Economy reporters Lee Ji-eun and Kwon Hyun-ji] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok, who filed an injunction against the 'Jeong Jin-seok Emergency Response Committee,' attended the injunction hearing on the 28th and fiercely debated legal arguments, stating, "I hope the party operates normally."

At the Seoul Southern District Court, Lee told reporters, "In today's hearing, as before, we fought fiercely, but I think it was a hearing where you could see the superstitious belief that 'if only Lee Jun-seok is removed, everything will go well.'"

He expressed his hope, saying, "I hope this attendance will be the last." Before attending the hearing, Lee also said, "I hope the party focuses not on 'catching Lee Jun-seok' but on controlling prices and exchange rates," adding, "Given the economic crisis, I find it puzzling how we must continue in this confrontational political turmoil."

He added, "I sincerely hope that everything will end with this injunction decision," and said, "It should have ended with the previous decision, but I don't understand why this political turmoil continues."

Lee’s legal team lawyer Lee Byung-cheol expressed confidence in winning. He said, "When we first filed the injunction, there was not a single media outlet that predicted a victory for Lee Jun-seok's side," emphasizing, "However, we achieved a complete victory, and currently, listening to various media panelists, since the situation has not changed, more than half predict that Lee will win this time."

He continued, "Previously, no one expected a win, but since we won, considering that more than half now expect a win based on common sense, legally, we can only win 200%."

Jeon Ju-hye, a People Power Party emergency committee member who attended the hearing, also emphasized the legitimacy of the emergency committee and expressed confidence in victory. Jeon said, "If the court judges properly, we are confident of winning," pointing out, "The revised party constitution is claimed by the creditor (former leader Lee Jun-seok) to have been made to exclude a specific person, but that is a geocentric theory-like claim."
