'Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu' and 'Gu Family Book' Writer Kang Eun-kyung Script

A creature thriller set in 1945 Gyeongseong is being produced as a Netflix series. The drama "Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu" and "Gu Family Book" writer Kang Eun-kyung is scripting, and "Stove League" director Jung Dong-yoon is directing "Gyeongseong Creature."
Netflix confirmed the production of "Gyeongseong Creature" and announced on the 28th that actors Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Su-hyun, Kim Hae-sook, Jo Han-chul, and Wi Ha-joon have been cast. The thriller depicts the story of those who fight desperately against monsters that shook Gyeongseong and even more monstrous people. Park Seo-joon plays Jang Tae-sang, Gyeongseong's top asset owner who prioritizes money over justice, and Han So-hee plays Yoon Chae-ok, a todukkun who has searched for missing people while crossing Manchuria and Shanghai with her father since childhood.
Maeda, the mistress of a family ruling the Gyeongseong area, is played by Su-hyun, and Kim Hae-sook plays Na Wol-daek, the housekeeper of the pawnshop Geumokdang. Jo Han-chul portrays Yoon Jung-won, Yoon Chae-ok's father who came chasing missing persons to find his wife who disappeared ten years ago, and Wi Ha-joon plays Kwon Joon-taek, Jang Tae-sang's close friend and an independence fighter.
The production is jointly handled by Glenn & Grim Media, known for "Misty" and "Romance Is a Bonus Book," Studio Dragon, known for "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" and "Sweet Home," and Kakao Entertainment, known for "Business Proposal" and "Crazy X in This Area."
