Discount of 20,000 to 40,000 KRW on Accommodation Fees When Using Designated Lodging

Residents Outside Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeonnam Province... Apply by December 11

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 28th that it is recruiting tourists to participate in the 'Namdo Accommodation Discount BIG Event' in celebration of the 'Year of Visit Jeollanam-do.'

The 'Namdo Accommodation Discount BIG Event' is a program where tourists can receive a partial discount on accommodation fees when using designated accommodations by December 11.

The accommodation fee discounts are as follows: ▲40,000 KRW for fees over 100,000 KRW ▲30,000 KRW for fees over 70,000 KRW ▲20,000 KRW for fees under 70,000 KRW. However, the discount is supported only once per person and the event will end early if the budget is exhausted.

Eligibility is for individual tourists residing outside Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do. Participants must select one designated accommodation in Hampyeong-gun, make a reservation by phone, and submit an application form along with a resident registration abstract to the county office official.

Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the county website and sending it via email to the Hampyeong-gun Culture, Tourism and Sports Department official.

An official from the county stated, "The '2022 Korea National Chrysanthemum Festival' is scheduled to welcome tourists with abundant attractions on October 21," and added, "We hope you create joyful memories in Hampyeong this fall with your family and friends."
