[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 28th that it has signed a business agreement with Criteo to establish an advertising solution aimed at revitalizing the small and medium-sized e-commerce market.

Through this business agreement, the two companies will build an advertising solution integrating each other's technologies to actively support sales growth for small online shopping mall operators. They plan to continuously enhance advertising services that expose products with a high likelihood of purchase based on consumer shopping data analysis.

Cafe24 will also explore various supports such as dedicated display ad management services for operators running online shopping malls on the Cafe24 platform, building marketing channels, and expanding overseas sales routes. As a result, small and medium-sized operators with relatively limited investment capacity or consumer data are expected to achieve cost-effective and high-efficiency advertising and marketing effects.

Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24, said, "Even early-stage online shopping mall entrepreneurs can grow faster by benefiting from advanced technology," adding, "We will provide greater opportunities in the market through cooperation with companies equipped with capabilities in various fields."
