Land Rover Defender '75th Anniversary Limited Edition' Pre-Order Now Available in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The vehicle is set to be released as an upgraded model based on the existing one, with a price around 130 million KRW. It features a unique design theme with distinctive details, an exterior in the iconic Grasmere Green color, roof, side signature graphics, and interior finishes.

The exterior design is enhanced by the exclusive Grasmere Green color for the 75th Anniversary Limited Edition, applied for the first time in the Defender lineup, adding to its uniqueness. The 20-inch alloy wheels and center caps also feature this color. The tailgate is adorned with a 75th Anniversary badge and Ceres Silver bumper, maximizing the exclusivity of this limited edition model.

The Defender 75th Anniversary Limited Edition is equipped with an Ingenium inline 6 diesel engine featuring a 48V mild hybrid (MHEV) system. Made from aluminum to achieve weight reduction, it is designed to minimize piston friction within the cylinders. Additionally, the twin turbochargers and electronically controlled variable nozzle system operate precisely and flexibly, delivering about 90% of maximum torque within one second at 2000 rpm engine speed. Thanks to these advanced technologies, the Ingenium inline 6 diesel engine boasts a powerful performance with a maximum output of 300 horsepower and peak torque of 66.3 kg·m.

To deliver overwhelming driving performance both on and off-road, the Defender 75th Anniversary Limited Edition is equipped with an electronic air suspension that adjusts ride height according to driving conditions and an electronic active rear locking differential that ensures optimal traction control. It also features Adaptive Dynamics, which monitors road conditions 500 times per second and continuously optimizes damper settings, providing sharp handling and excellent ride comfort on paved roads.

Smart advanced technologies are also extensively installed. Land Rover’s innovative 3D surround camera and configurable fully automatic Terrain Response system enable comfortable driving in any environment. The vehicle is equipped with a Meridian sound system, matrix LED headlights, an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, a head-up display, and wireless charging. Additionally, a sliding panoramic roof, center console refrigerator box, and 3-zone interior climate control system offer a high level of comfort.
