[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The Church Growth International (CGI) will hold the ‘2022 Board Conference’ from the 6th to the 10th of next month at Yoido Full Gospel Church’s Paul Sanctuary and other locations. CGI is an organization established in 1976, led by Yoido Full Gospel Church, with the purpose of promoting church growth worldwide.
The conference, themed “Pentecostal Revival of the Next Generation,” will be attended by about 800 people, including CGI board members composed of pastors and church growth scholars from 25 countries around the world, as well as domestic pastors.
On the 6th, the event will begin with a temporary board meeting and welcome dinner at the Millennium Hilton Hotel Grand Ballroom. On the 7th, a pastors’ conference will be held at Yoido Full Gospel Church’s Paul Sanctuary. On the 8th, there will be a memorial event for Pastor Cho Yong-gi’s first anniversary and a Holy Spirit gathering at Osanri Choi Ja-shil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain. On the 9th, attendees will visit Yoido Full Gospel Church and churches under the Christian Council of Korea to attend Sunday worship services. The board meeting will be held on the 10th at the Millennium Hilton Hotel Coral Room, concluding all events with a welcome luncheon.
Speakers include Pastor Lee Young-hoon, Pastor Fran?ois Fouch? from France, Pastor Bob Rogers from the United States, Pastor Hendrik Bolster from Australia, and Pastor John Milton Rodriguez from Colombia. They will present on topics such as Pentecostal revival of the next generation, church planting through the power of the Holy Spirit, and revival across generations.
Since its inception, CGI has held about 600 seminars over one or two years in major cities in over 100 countries worldwide, including Seoul. Based on biblical principles, it has promoted various strategies for church growth by showcasing successful pastors and exemplary churches as models.
