[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] HiteJinro announced on the 28th that it will release a Terra Art Limited Edition in collaboration with 'Dodo Bird Artist' Kim Sun-woo, who is popular among the MZ (Millennial + Generation Z) generation.
This 'Terra X Kim Sun-woo Limited Edition' was prepared to commemorate the sale of 3 billion bottles of Terra. It is the second Terra limited edition following last year's 'Terra X Smiley Edition.' With an eco-friendly concept, the Terra logo and Kim's signature dodo bird were used to newly design Terra's packaging. HiteJinro plans to set the slogan of this limited edition as 'SAVE the Green' to encourage consumers' interest in environmental preservation.
The limited edition will be released in 355ml cans and sold at major supermarkets nationwide. An event will also be held where customers who purchase the product will receive two types of goods featuring the dodo bird package design. Gallery displays showcasing Kim's famous works will be operated at major supermarkets as well.
HiteJinro plans to use the sales proceeds from this Terra limited edition, together with artist Kim, to plant 3,000 trees for a forest creation project in Gangwon Province.
Oh Sung-taek, Executive Director of HiteJinro's Marketing Office, said, "We consider it very meaningful to collaborate with artist Kim Sun-woo based on our shared interest in environmental preservation," adding, "We will strengthen marketing activities so that Terra's clean brand value can have a positive environmental impact and contribute to society in the future."
