Introducing 'Jeonyong Bread' Made with Healthy Recipes Like Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Organic Bread
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas' 1st floor Grand Deli announced on the 28th that it has newly established a 'Healthy Pleasure' corner showcasing vegan, gluten-free, and organic breads made with organic ingredients and healthy recipes. The 26-meter-high arcade space filled with natural light has also been renovated with wood-tone furniture.
At the Healthy Pleasure corner of Grand Deli, new healthy menus using seasonal ingredients will be continuously introduced. This month, a total of four new breads are being sold. These include the 'Muscovado Glutin-Free Bread' flavored with autumn chestnuts, red beans, organic muscovado sugar, and enhanced with chewy glutinous rice; the 'Tomato Olive Focaccia Vegan Bread' topped with dry tomatoes, balsamic reduction, and fresh basil made by the hotel chef; the 'Coconut Soboro Vegan Bread,' which replaces the popular soboro topping with coconut oil; and the 'Fig Whole Wheat Vegan Bread,' made by kneading 100% organic whole wheat flour, slow-fermented for two days, and added chewiness with dried figs. In addition, German-style sourdough, French baguette, muesli, and soft tofu bread are also offered.
Next month, the cake of the month will be the Mont Blanc cake. It is a cake made with sweet and savory French chestnut paste, which can be enjoyed in autumn. Soft chestnut-flavored chantilly cream is spread on a chocolate sponge sheet to create a high mountain shape.
A Grand Deli representative said, "We plan to expand the variety of Healthy Pleasure breads further," adding, "We aim to provide a sustainable luxury experience in line with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management."
