Dunlop has been selected as the official ball for the Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament.
The men's professional tennis (ATP) tour event is being held from the 24th of last month until October 2nd at the Seoul Jamsil Olympic Park Tennis Courts. The Dunlop AO tennis ball is also the official ball used at the Australian Open, one of the four major Grand Slam tournaments worldwide. This year, it is recognized for its performance among professional players, being used as the official ball in 50% of the 74 men's ATP tour events.
Dunlop has been manufacturing tennis balls since 1923. Its remastered core, which controls the ball's elasticity and durability, and the ‘HD Pro Cloth’ felt technology that delivers optimal stroke and spin, are outstanding. Dunlop was the first to develop and produce tennis rackets made from graphite material. It is a total tennis brand that professionally offers tennis balls, rackets, and strings.
In addition to sponsoring the official ball, Dunlop provides stringing services to help tournament players perform at their best. At the outdoor event brand zone, various enjoyable activities are offered, including a photo zone commemorating the official ball and a roulette game.
This year's Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament is a ‘big match’ held domestically after a long time. Top-ranked players such as Casper Ruud (World No. 2, Norway), the US Open runner-up, and Cameron Norrie (World No. 8, United Kingdom) have entered in large numbers. The finals and semifinals seats have already sold out, generating great anticipation.
