The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea visited Pohang City Hall on the 27th to donate wallpaper and flooring worth 200 million KRW for the typhoon victims.
Jeon Woo-heon, chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, said, “We donated funds to help the victims in the Pohang area quickly regain their daily lives,” and added, “We sincerely hope they overcome their pain and regain hope.”
On the same day, the Gyeongbuk Province Transportation Association donated wallpaper and flooring worth 2 million KRW, the International Lions Club 365-E (Gyeongbuk) district donated wallpaper and flooring worth 20 million KRW, the Sangju City Neighborhood Leaders Association donated wallpaper and flooring worth 2.4 million KRW, the Daegu Bar Association donated wallpaper and flooring worth 20 million KRW, and the Pohang City Philharmonic Orchestra donated 1 million KRW in cash.
Kyungdong Navien donated 800 hot water mats worth 196 million KRW, the Pohang Volunteer Center Board of Directors donated wallpaper and flooring worth 8 million KRW, Pohang Post Office donated 92 blankets worth 5 million KRW, Pohang Junior Chamber and Pohang JC Alumni Association donated 250 blankets worth 5 million KRW, Buk Pohang Junior Chamber donated wallpaper and flooring worth 2 million KRW, and the Pohang Veterans Association, Women’s Association, Pohang Veterans Youth Group, and Daikhoe donated wallpaper and flooring worth 5.5 million KRW, 3 million KRW, and 1 million KRW respectively.
