[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Jung Woo-sung is resuming refugee relief activities after three years.

According to his agency Artist Company on the 27th, Jung Woo-sung will head to Poland in early next month for refugee relief efforts. He is expected to engage in activities supporting refugees from the Ukraine war on site.

Jung Woo-sung has been involved in refugee relief activities in Nepal, Lebanon, South Sudan, and Iraq since becoming a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador in May 2014. The following year, he served as a goodwill ambassador. In 2019, he visited the Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. Although he was unable to participate in relief activities due to the pandemic, last year he expressed support through donations for Rohingya refugees fleeing the violence in Myanmar.

After three years, Jung Woo-sung will resume relief activities as a goodwill ambassador in Poland. On October 7, he will travel to Spain to attend the official schedule of his first directed work, "Protector," which was invited to the 54th Sitges Film Festival. Afterwards, he plans to return to Korea and prepare for filming his drama comeback after 10 years, tentatively titled "Say I Love You."
