Academies, Workbooks, and Online Lectures Offered at 10% Discount

It also provides various discount benefits that add convenience to daily life, such as online shopping mall memberships, delivery apps, and apartment management fees.

First, this card offers a 10% payment day discount benefit on amounts spent at ▲academies ▲study materials ▲online lectures. The academy payment day discount benefit applies to usage at ▲entrance exam and tutoring ▲foreign language ▲arts and physical education academies, based on Samsung Card's industry classification standards. The study materials discount benefit applies to usage at ▲ThinkBig ▲Kyowon ▲Daekyo ▲Hansol Education, and the online lecture discount benefit applies to usage at ▲MegaStudy ▲Elly High ▲MilkT ▲Etoos ▲MBest ▲Daesung MyMac. The 10% payment day discount benefit is provided up to a maximum of 70,000 KRW per month depending on the previous month's usage.

In addition to education expense benefits, discounts are also available for frequently used daily convenience sectors. It offers a 50% payment day discount benefit on payments for online shopping mall memberships such as ▲Coupang Rocket Wow ▲Naver Plus ▲Market Kurly Kurly Pass. The discount benefit is provided up to a maximum of 5,000 KRW per month by combining the amounts used for online shopping mall memberships.

Also, a 5% payment day discount benefit is provided up to a maximum of 5,000 KRW per month by combining usage amounts of delivery apps ▲Baedal Minjok ▲Coupang Eats, and a 5,000 KRW payment day discount benefit is provided monthly for apartment management fees of 100,000 KRW or more on regular payments. The payment day discount benefits for education expenses and daily convenience sectors are provided when the previous month's usage exceeds 500,000 KRW.

Additionally, a 1.5% payment day discount benefit is provided on overseas merchant and overseas direct purchase amounts without restrictions on the previous month's usage or discount limits. The annual fee for the Samsung iD Edu Card is 30,000 KRW for both domestic-only and overseas-compatible (Visa) cards.
