[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Franchise cafe brand 'Coffee Evanhada' announced on the 26th that it has opened a 24-hour unmanned smart cafe at Suhyup in Hongseong, Chungnam.
Coffee Evanhada's unmanned smart cafe, starting with the Samsung flagship store in April last year, is equipped with various systems such as a 24-hour control center operation, automatic ordering system, and motion detection analysis CCTV.
The Smart Cafe Hongseong Namdanghang Branch, opened in August, is the first unmanned cafe opened at Suhyup and features a spacious ocean view overlooking the sea.
Namdanghang is a clean fishing port located in Cheonsuman, rich in fish species, and hosts Korea's largest shrimp festival from early September to mid-October.
A Coffee Evanhada official stated, "The Smart Cafe Hongseong Namdanghang Branch provides various beverages and rest spaces 24 hours a day to fishermen and tourists," adding, "Since opening, it has recorded high weekend sales worth approximately 1.2 million won."
Coffee Evanhada is promoting the opening of various types of unmanned stores through continuous cooperation with institutions such as Boryeong Suhyup and Dong Seoul Postal Distribution Center.
