[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ CheilJedang announced on the 25th that it will launch two new Bibigo frozen soup products, 'Bibigo Special Seolleongtang' and 'Bibigo Special Yangji Gomtang.'
Bibigo frozen soup products were developed after researching the dedication and know-how of soup masters by visiting famous traditional restaurants nationwide for two years. The deep and natural soup flavor was achieved by simmering meat and vegetable broth extracted directly from a large cauldron. Additionally, the fresh flavor of freshly boiled soup was preserved using rapid freezing technology at below minus 35 degrees Celsius. The meat was prepared using the Soft-steam method to prevent moisture evaporation and lock in the juices, allowing for a moist and tender texture.
'Bibigo Special Seolleongtang' features brisket that was seasoned by pounding 900 times, marinated at low temperature for 6 hours to absorb the seasoning well, and then softened further using the Soft-steam method. 'Bibigo Special Yangji Gomtang' has a rich broth made from deeply boiled shank and beef bone broth with added Korean soy sauce, giving the soup a savory taste. It contains thick, moist brisket and tender shank meat.
CJ CheilJedang aims to actively grow the entire market, both online and offline, by leading with the new frozen soup products. With this launch, Bibigo soup products now total 32 varieties, including ambient and frozen options.
