About 20 members of the Saemaeul Association in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, participated in the 2022 Community Movement Core Leader Capacity Building Workshop.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The organizing committee of the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo, located in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, announced that over 20 members of the Sancheong-gun Saemaeul Association participated on the 21st in the ‘2022 Core Leader Capacity Building Training for Community Movement’ held in Geoje (Sono Calm), where they promoted the Expo and reaffirmed their commitment to its successful hosting.
The training session was organized to foster leadership by enhancing communication and empathy among Saemaeul leaders and to explore practical measures for community movement implementation, with approximately 450 members from various cities and counties participating.
A representative of the Expo organizing committee promoted the Expo through a presentation and the YouTube channel ‘Sancheong Television,’ and together with 450 members, shouted a fighting cheer to support the successful hosting of the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo.
Mr. Ahn Hwa-young, president of the Gyeongsangnam-do Saemaeul Association, stated, “Since the Sancheong Expo is a government-approved international event hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do, our members will actively promote it to ensure its successful hosting.”
On the same day, about 30 members of the Sancheong-gun Life Improvement Association performed a promotional performance for the Expo by showcasing a musculoskeletal disease prevention exercise developed independently by the Sancheong-gun Federation to 10,000 members nationwide at the ‘9th National Life Improvement Association Unity Competition’ held at the Yeosu Expo Convention Center.
Mr. Lee Cheon-se, president of the Sancheong-gun Saemaeul Association, said, “All local residents wish for the successful hosting of the Expo, and all social organizations will take the lead in promotion, attraction, and volunteering.”
The ‘2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo’ is a government-approved international event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Gyeongnam Province, and Sancheong-gun. Under the theme ‘Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World,’ it will be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19, 2023, throughout the Donguibogam Village area in Sancheong.
