NH Investment & Securities Hosts 'London Korea Corporate Day 2022'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 23rd that it held the 'NHIS-Maybank Korea Corporate Day 2022' for major overseas institutional investors over two days, September 21 and 22 (local time), at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in London, UK.

The event was co-hosted with Maybank, a European regional partner, and was successfully conducted without disruption despite the passing of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.

Through this conference, NH Investment & Securities introduced leading Korean companies to overseas institutional investors and provided participating domestic companies with an opportunity to strengthen their networks with global investors.

The NH conference featured nine prominent domestic companies including SK Hynix, Hyundai Motor Company, Kakao, KB Financial Group, Shinhan Financial Group, LG Electronics, SK Telecom, NH Investment & Securities, and Osstem Implant. Approximately 70 investors from about 40 investment institutions based in London attended. During the conference, around 170 face-to-face and virtual meetings were held.

Meanwhile, NH Investment & Securities resumed overseas conferences after three years since the outbreak of COVID-19 and has been leading the understanding of key domestic industries and companies and attracting investments from overseas investment institutions through continuous global conferences in Asia, Europe, and the Americas since 2005.

In particular, this event marks the first time in nine years since 2013 that it has been held in London. NH Investment & Securities obtained a securities license locally and launched its London branch in April. It is expected that this event will contribute to the London branch playing a key bridging role connecting the capital markets of Korea and Europe in the future.
