[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulju-gun, Ulsan City inspected 160 facilities emitting environmental pollutants in the area last month and detected 7 violations.
This inspection was conducted on a total of 160 companies, including ▲57 sites for air management ▲43 sites for resource circulation ▲37 sites for water quality management ▲23 sites for air and wastewater.
As a result of the inspection, a total of 7 violations were detected: ▲2 cases of violation of the Waste Management Act ▲2 cases of violation of the Water Environment Conservation Act ▲2 cases of violation of the Noise and Vibration Control Act ▲1 case of violation of the Air Environment Conservation Act.
Ulju-gun plans to take administrative and judicial actions, including improvement orders and fines, against the violating facilities.
An official from the county stated, “Through continuous guidance and inspections, we will raise environmental management awareness among companies to prevent air and water pollution and create a pleasant environment.”
