[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Heo Chan of the group VICTON was caught by the police while driving under the influence of alcohol.

On the 22nd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that Heo was booked on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act and is under investigation.

Heo is suspected of drinking and driving near Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, at around 6:40 a.m. on the 20th. At the time, his blood alcohol concentration was reported to be at the license cancellation level.

A police official stated, "He is currently booked on charges of drunk driving and under investigation," adding, "It is difficult to confirm detailed circumstances."

Meanwhile, his agency IST Entertainment stated, "He will suspend team and individual activities from today onward," and "He plans to cooperate sincerely with the police investigation."
