"Stomach Health and Gut Beneficial Bacteria" Maeil Dairies' 'The Great Tea Kombucha', Enjoy Sparkling Healthily

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Maeil Dairies' The Great Tea Kombucha is a functional food product containing 4g of plant-based prebiotic guar gum hydrolysate. It is designed to allow consumers to enjoy sparkling drinks more healthily by adding guar gum hydrolysate, known to help increase beneficial gut bacteria, to kombucha, which supports digestive health.

Maeil Dairies developed the recipe in collaboration with a professional tea sommelier to pair well especially with greasy foods. Additionally, they applied the fermentation expertise of D?ller, a German company with 183 years of tradition, to create a clean fermented flavor. The Great Tea Kombucha is also double-fermented to produce a smooth fermented carbonation that helps lighten the experience of consuming high-calorie greasy foods.

The Great Tea Kombucha is available in two varieties: Original and Berry Rich. The Original features a clean fermented flavor that pairs well with any food by blending lemon myrtle, Jeju-grown organic green tea, and Darjeeling black tea. The Berry Rich variety boasts a more refreshing taste with seven types of berries and lychee juice added, and its invigorating carbonation is especially well-suited to rich or greasy foods. Both varieties contain only 4g of sugar per 100ml, and each 300ml bottle has just 90 Kcal, minimizing calorie concerns.
