Residential Specialist 'Seohi Construction' Lands in Daegu Seo-gu! 'Daegu Duryu Starhills' Scheduled for Supply

Seohui Construction, known as a prestigious residential builder, is making headlines by landing in Seo-gu, Daegu. The large-scale complex 'Duryu Starhills,' being developed in the Naedang-dong area of Seo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, is set to offer some units for sale.

Seohui Construction has showcased premium residential spaces under the brand 'Starhills' in cities such as Gyeongsan, Pohang, Cheonan, Yongin, Busan, Siheung, and Anseong. The company is known for its solid corporate career, ranking 21st in the '2022 Construction Capability Evaluation' announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport at the end of July. This evaluation comprehensively assesses construction performance, management status, technical ability, and credibility, making it a trusted benchmark for construction company reliability.

The location chosen by Seohui Construction is Seo-gu, Daegu, which has recently emerged as a hot spot. Seo-gu, previously a neglected area in Daegu’s development, is now attracting attention as a central development zone due to urban regeneration projects and major transportation expansions including railways and airports.

Particularly noteworthy is the area around Duryu Station. Emerging as the center of Seo-gu, the Duryu Station area enjoys a fully developed infrastructure along with additional locational advantages. The new Daegu Metropolitan City Hall is also scheduled to relocate near Duryu Station in Seo-gu by 2026.

Naedang-dong, located near Duryu Station on Line 2, is equipped with abundant convenience facilities such as Homeplus, Seonam Market, and Lotte Cinema. Additionally, a large commercial district with government offices including the Daegu Metropolitan City Hall (scheduled to move in 2026) is nearby, allowing residents to enjoy a convenient one-stop living infrastructure. Moreover, the area forms a school district with institutions like Duryu Elementary School, enabling walking access to schools and providing an excellent educational environment.

Above all, the transportation environment is highly attractive. With Seongseo IC, bus stops serving 19 routes, and the KTX Seodaegu Station opened in March, mobility is excellent. Furthermore, various additional transportation benefits are planned, promising future value growth. This includes the inclusion of Seodaegu Station in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Line and Gwangju-Daegu Line, both part of the metropolitan railway projects.

The new airport also raises expectations among local demanders. Seo-gu is rapidly emerging as a beneficiary area of the metropolitan transportation network centered around the integrated new airport.

Benefiting from regional development, 'Duryu Starhills' will be constructed in the Naedang-dong area of Seo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, comprising a total of seven buildings: six apartment towers ranging from four basement floors to 49 above-ground floors, and one officetel tower from four basement floors to 36 above-ground floors. Among these, 201 apartment units of 84㎡ will be supplied, with a variety of popular layouts including △84A with 118 units, △84B with 64 units, and △84C with 19 units, broadening the selection options.

The unit composition, reflecting Seohui Construction’s long-standing residential expertise, is another factor that makes this complex stand out. Considering the locational advantages adjacent to Duryu Park, E-World, and 83 Tower, the design ensures excellent views. In particular, the panoramic views enjoyed from the 49th floor are regarded as truly spectacular.

Additionally, some units feature a rare 5Bay layout, difficult to find elsewhere in Daegu, and all units include a pantry while some have an alpha room, maximizing space utilization compared to similar-sized units.

Meanwhile, applications for 'Duryu Starhills' will begin on the 12th of next month.
